Making splashscreen


Hi
Is there a tutorial about making a splashscreen for kde ? And one more thing : does kde splashscreen works on gnome , and gnome's work on kde ?

You can use any themes from kde-look.org as a template for your own. GNOME splash screens are made from one image whereas the KDE splash consists of a few, so it won't work in GNOME without some modification.
