Making ext4 smaller - is it safe?
 
I wanna free some space on the HDD to install ReactOS. Is it safe - to make ext4 partition smaller via GParted? Can I lose data? Or crash FS?

When you re-size a partition, you can always loose data, or have other problems.
Backup your data.
