make dist clean?

If I installed a program that I dont want anymore, like afterstep, should I go in the directery I configured it in and type; 'make dist clean', or 'make clean', before I remove the directory? I dont want to break anything.

You probably want to 'make uninstall' to remove the app if you did a bare 'make install' but you can just rm -rf the source directory to remove it. Clean and dist-clean have to do with removing generated object files and other junk for clean re-compilations.
