make can't find build command
Hi,
I'm trying to get my usb-wlan (Zydas ZD1211) to work, so I want to install compat-wireless-2.6. For this package I downloaded the make-package, which won't work. It says it can't find build in the linux directory of my library directory. I already installed the build-essential package, are there any packages that I also need? I have debian 5.0 KDE installed on my old Dell laptop (PIII 750mHz). Kind regards, Rob |
You need to install the kernel source and probably the kernel headers (or devel) packages. Edit: also, FWIW, "build" is usually a sym link to your kernel source directory.
