make apt forget?
I was going to uninstall "package A" in Kpackage but I found that it was going to delete too many other things along with it. So I did not start the uninstall.
Now, whenever I install something, kpackage/apt/dpkg tries to do the uninstall package A again. I've accumulated some failed apt installations/installations, and apt seems to retry them whenever I install something new. How do I tell Kpackage, apt, or dpkg or whatever to stop trying to uninstall package A? I am no longer interested in uninstalling it. |
