i have a linux centOS server running as a mail and proxy, am trying to set up it up so that users can receive emails from anyway in the world. note my emails will be sitting on the server. please assist.

If there's a question in there, I don't see it.
It sounds like you are receiving email ok, but have problems presenting it to remote users. True?
Do you have an IMAP server (like dovecot)?
Do you have a web interface to your mail (like horde)?
What happens when you try to view mail from another system?
