mail from server

Hello,

I'm just trying to get email from my server for regular stuff such as rkhunter logs, ssh logs and such. Which mail program can allow me do such stuff without the need for a lot of configuration. In summary I just need my server to send me emails, I don't need anything fancy. I tried it with sendmail but couldn't configure it. I'm using cenOS 5.3.

Cheers

I had the same question recently...

The solution for me was msmtp (as mailserver who uses another SMTP-server like google or so...) and mutt (as mail client, which allow mailcommands in a crontab)

Did not have to configure a lot...

My guide : http://msmtp.sourceforge.net/doc/mutt+msmtp.txt
