mail command option
 

when i type mail command in putty i can see the first listing page and at the end there is a "&" sign. i want to move to the next page to display the next set of messages.

but pressing enter key / space bar does not move to the next set of listing. No solution in man page.

please advice. thanks in advance.

'mail' is quite crude, indeed. Use mutt, pine or some other more
friendly tool for the console. According to the man-page an h +
should do the trick, but I've never actually seen it work.
