Question Mail & ICR in terminal

Where can I find the basics of setting up and running ICR and mail in Terminal? Thanks

What does ICR stand for, and do you
want to set-up a mail server or a client?

If it's client software you're looking for, I'd suggest mutt for mail and irssi for irc.
