mail

i'm trying to send mail in the console using mail. when i send mail it kicks back saying "Real domain name required for sender address", which is now "me@localhost.localdomain". I've combed my book looking for how to set it up to what I want, but to no avail. Is there a how-to or some general quick help on solving this problem?

thanx

I'm not familiar with Redhat, but all those settings are typically kept in the /etc directory. I would look for a file name host or hosts or hostname (or maybe all 3..)
