Hi,

First ... I'm a newbie with Linux and it might put some silly questions so please have patience with me. I've got a problem )

1. I'm using RH8.0 and I've created a user named Daniel. Now ... when a send a email from daniel@root.localhost.localdomain or Daniel@root.localhost.localdomain to root@localhost.localdomain it's working but when is from root to Daniel/daniel nope. I've get a username don't exist.

Sendmail is started and I'm using mbox/sendmail to send / receive.

Thank's....

what is the username you're using? if it's just on a local machine then all you should need to set the address to is "daniel"

I believe he means what is the username you are using to send the mail to, not from. And then Acid is further saying you don't need @localhost.localdomain, just: daniel.

Cool

Ok I got it ... the username is daniel. Anyway ... please tellme where I can find some docs about how to set up a mal server and lan settings. I think the problem is there. The username is not found .... that means that cannot be found somewhere ... how to set that "somewhere" ). Thanks.
