Macbook users wants to use DSL 4.0.

I have a macbook dual boot, core 2 duo with xp installed. I would like to know how to extract the DSL4.0.iso image to a disk or flash drive so I can run DSL at bootup. I guess first I should ask is this possible with a MAC?
Where can I find help files? Thank you
