MacBook Pro - Fedora 10 - svn mplayer - no video window

Hi all! I just successfully installed Fedora 10, then svn, gcc, make, and finally mplayer. I compiled mplayer from source which I pulled from what's currently up on svn. Mplayer configure, make, and make install seemed to work fine. But when I try to play a video, mplayer prints some errors, then seems to play the file as far as the console is concerned. But there is no sound, and no video. It doesn't even open a new window to play the video in. Here are the console messages:

Code:
[paul@pauld mplayer]$ mplayer '/media/Blue Angel/Storage/CS147 Video Proto/Export 6 h264.mov'
MPlayer SVN-r28450-4.3.2 (C) 2000-2009 MPlayer Team

It quit because I hit 'q' after a few seconds. So is this a video driver issue? What else do I need to install. I'm not interested in using a gui with mplayer. I just want a window to pop up with the video. I'm coming from OS X so I'm not familiar with these details.

Thank you all!

Got sound! I issued this command:

Code:
echo "options snd_hda_intel model=mbp3" >> /etc/modprobe.d/sound
Thanks to: http://nareshv.blogspot.com/2008/10/...ok-pro-41.html

Ok, still no video, and no video window. I am on a MacBook Pro core two duo 2.4ghz if that helps. I also have flash working such that youtube plays videos fine - if that's relevant...

Thanks again!
