MAC Delay in NS-2.33

Hi,
I am ruing very simple MIP scenario in old version of NS-2 (NS-allinpne-2.1b7) and NS-allinone-2.33. result shows the delay in ns-2.33 MAC layer is much higher than privous one. this is the delay from when BS receives the packet in Routing Agent and sends it to MAC layer (802.11) in order to send it to MN.does anybody has any idea please?
