All I want to do is add my username to the login requester. I am the only user who can use this computer, but for some reason, LXDE did not do this as other distros normally do.
I can find lots of tutorials for adding new users, but not for doing this simple task. However, because it is LXDE, that may still be a problem.
However... even though gnome-system-tools is installed, when I tried to run it from the terminal, its name is not recognised, so obvious a little knowledge isn't always enough.
Also, the terminal comand to add a user is what I said I didn't need.
I already have a user name. I just want it added to the login requester.
