Hello,
something might be corrupted.

Try a "puppy pfix=clean"
or puppy pfix=purge

cheers

Question

i've tried all the options on basic and advanced option list, and they dont seem to work..
all i get is
"loading vmlinuz...
loading intrid.gz....ready" then the screen turns black for 1/2 a second, then i get sent back to the options screen.
--------
i see that your from australia, i've always wanted to go there.

Can you try another copy of the cd. Or try it in an other system.
The hardware could be faulty. If you can try memtest86 that will test the memory.

http://www.memtest86.com/download.html

At the moment in Australia it raining and flooding everywhere down the east coast so don't come here yet.
