lpthread install on RedHat, THREADS
Hi,
This really made me hard days... I am very new to linux and I need to port some stuff from windows. I use X-Window to access a RedHat linux machine (7.3) with no appropriate so installed. I stucked in installing LinuxThreads....... :( I downloaded glibc-linuxthreads-2.2.xxxx and tried to make as it is in the documentation. The outcome: ../Rule and ../Makeconfig not found. .//Rule is not in the package (a Makeconfig is there). But not found. I have no clue how to continue on (in KDevelop -lpthreads have been set) with installation. Please let me know if you can. Thanks |
I don;t really understand whats going on here, but since no-one else has replied...
The documentation says to do what exactly? I guess that you should only have one dot in front of /rule ie../rule |
