Lost OS :(
 

Can anybody offer any advice please......have xp on a primary master and Suse on a primary slave. I have re-installed Xandros because of a mess-up on my part next to Suse and all is ok other than the Startup boot menu doesn't see Sus which is definitely intact. Comes up with : 1. Xandros 2. Safe Video Mode 3. Configuration (Expert) 4. Windows XP. I don't even know how to get to the configuration file let alone edit it so pleeeze take it easy. Thanks !

don't know much about Xandros but does it use GRUB bootloader. If so, it must have overwritten GRUB installed by SUSE. I suggest you look for a file grub.conf or menu.lst in your /boot/grub directory...this is to say if Xandros uses GRUB...

If so then you might have to manually add suse to that file so that you see the SUSE entry next time you boot up...
