Lost on Unbuntu Linux file systems

I am trying to create a combined media and storage server (NAS) on my new Unbuntu server. I have a 256GB drive as my boot drive and I have two 1TB drives that are empty. I want to use the two 1TB drives as storage for some important data and also for the media that will be played/collected for my XMBC server. I want to be able to access/manipulate these shares/files/data from my Windows computers over my home network.

I have Unbuntu 14.04 and Webmin installed.

I greatly appreciate any assistance. I feel like I am running around in circles on Webmin with this.

What's your question or were you just telling us what you're up to this afternoon?

I'm sorry I wasn't more specific. Its been what I have been up to for 2 days scratching my head

I want to be able to create and access -on the two 2TB drives- folders/shares to be able my store documents/data and collected media: movies, photos, and music on my Unbuntu server. How do I create the folders/shares for this on this combined 2TB volume that will also be accessible from Windows desktops on my home network.

(I have Webmin installed and running.)

You marked this as solved, so I presume you found out about Samba?

I did but not from here. I flagged it solved so it wouldn't draw any further attention.

If you read the link in item #4 in my signature it goes into greater detail, but if you mark it solved, it's good manners to add the solution to your thread as well. Someone else is going to have the same question you had and it's frustrating to stumble onto a potential solution only to find out there's no solution.
