The grub configuration-file is here:
/boot/grub/grub.conf
or
/boot/grub/menu.lst

You can see your partition-table with:
fdisk -l /dev/hdX
if your harddrive is IDE
fdisk -l /dev/sdX
if it is scsi or sata

Do you have more than one harddrive?

Is the partition with Mint still there?

Can you mount it?

Maybe all that is needed is to add Mint in grubs configuration file if it is not in there.
