Lost all sound
 

MDK 9.2. Nothing has changed to my knowledge. I haven;t used any audio programs for awhile and when I tried today I have no audio whatsoever. Booted out of Linux and checked XP-ok. So what could make my audio go south? The volume is up and the mute is unchecked.:newbie:

Did you install any new hardware or software? Even just plug a scanner into a usb port?

Are the speakers powered on, and the cable is still connected between the soundcard and the speakers? -- J.W.

Thanks for the replies. I had to reconfigure the sound card. I forgot I reinstalled and skipped the "configure" section.
