looking for ways to optimize my 3d card


l am looking for some ways to fully optimize my gforce fx5900 card, last time i tried glxgears, i only got 5700 fps, any sugesstions would be appreicated.

amd 3200xp
gforce fx5900
1gb double channel ddr. memory

Dude, 5700 fps is blazing fast. Lots of people are getting by with scores of only 40 fps to 100 fps. I don't think there's really all that much more optimization that you can do - I'd say you're already there. What kind of scores are you expecting to achieve? -- J.W.

I think your card is running just fine - your fps in glxgears is very good. I get around 3800-4000 on a atlhonxp 2100+ / 512 ram / geforce 4 ti4400

That's about ten times faster than my P III 700 and 440MX :-)

is there a config file or app, to tweak my 3d perfermace ? like anti-alizing stuff ?

Not that I'm aware of, but I'm hardly an expert. At the risk of repeating myself, dude, I'd love to have your fps scores on my machine, so I'm not sure why you seem so dissatisfied. How much better/faster are you hoping to make it? Honestly I think you've got things tuned to perfection. -- J.W.
