Looking for Linux buds

I use yahoo but will be switching to gaim soon on a linux box.

Add me via yahoo guys if that is cool. entrytechmansoor@yahoo.com

Indeed guys, my question is in relation to links as of now. There is a book in relation to Linux at amazon that got 5 out of 5 stars in its rating. Wow! It was based off of 22 reviewers. But, if I can avoid paying $40 bucks for a book I'll do it. My question is, where do I go to learn everything about the shell, command programming, and other essentials online in relation t linux?

Thanks Add me on yahoo guys with a subject of "linux help/linux bud" or something to that nature.

thanks

There is LOTS of free documentation. Start with tldp.org---in particular something like the "Bash Guide for Beginners" by Machtelt Garrels.
