Looking for carrier in Linux
 

Hi,
currently I`m working for NETGEAR and i`m not satisfied with my job.I feel like carrier with Linux is quite bright.so just wanna know the sources for study material.

I think you mean career

You might want to tell us what you are doing for Netgear---and what you want to do with Linux. Your statement is a bit like saying you want a career with Windows. The obvious questions is: "Doing what?" e.g. programming, distribution, sales, service and support, etc.

well I`m working as a level 1 technician.I basically would like to a Network Administrator.I`ve started using Ubuntu and doesn`t feel like using any other OS.Have heard a lot about Linux being used as servers and has a lot of demand in the IT line.As I`m so much interested in linux so I was thinking why not make it my career but I am not able to find the path like what to do and where to go.CCNA is must with Linux or which other course is a must to have a good future with Linux.

SAMS, WROX and O'Reilly are publisher with quite a lot of hands-on books for a lot of IT topics, including Linux. I suggest you visit their sites and check for free sample chapters and source code before deciding what book to start out with.
If network administration is your main focus, then you should gather a few old PC's and set up your own private test network to learn by doing. You have to invest time in learning before starting a dream career.
