Looking for an article “The Torvalds Legacy – The Rise of Open Source”


Hi, can someone help me locate the following report? It is a Deutsche Bank Securities analysis entitled “The Torvalds Legacy – The Rise of Open Source.”

Hi Carol, it being a Deutsche Bank Security Analysis would imply that it's not in the public domain? I notice from a Google search that you're asking everywhere. Have you tried Deutsche Bank?

Failing that, for a pretty good history of Open Source and Linux you could try:


Rebel Code, Linux and the Open Source Revolution
by Glyn Moody

Just for Fun: The story of an accidental revolutionary by Linus Torvalds and David Diamond

And lastly...

The Cathedral and the Bazaar by Eric S. Raymond
