Looking for a way to use Quicken with Linux

Could you suggest a way for me to use Quicken (Home & Business 2008 version) with Linux, or in the alternative, any Linux software that would be at least generally equivalent?

It seems to be marked as Gold in the wine database, so, it should work without major flaws.

So, I'd say, try to run it under wine.

Gnucash is the equivalent to Quicken:

I use kmymoney which is similar to Quicken but not quite as close to Quicken as Gnucash is:

Your distribution probably has one or both in the distribution repository.

Install it with Wine and it should work fine.
