looking for a mac like distro


My apologies to the Linux community if my request seems trevia ,
my working background is in the photographic industry macs are my preferred machines ,
i am aware that behind the mac's os is Linux.
Is there a distro i can install on my pc that is mac like.
i await any reply,and i am sorry if this seem trivia to the Linux community.

The Macs aren't based on Linux, they're based on BSD. Any distro can be made to look like a Mac (go to www.kde-look.org or www.gnome.org) by changing the desktop, if you want it to work like a Mac, that's a different proposition! Although the Macs are based on FOSS, they are proprietary so it will be difficult to make Linux work like them.

Linux can be made to look like the mac. Here is a guy who did it.

He uses xubuntu, which is a medium weight distro. That just means it'll be slow with 128MB of ram, snappy with 512MB, and just fly on a gig or more of ram.

This is Linux. We love doing weird stuff with it, just because we can. Nothing is TOO trivial.
