Looking for a good news reader that can also post

I've been using Pan for a while now... works quite well on the binary front. The problem I'm having is, occasionally I'd like to post a binary, something that Pan doesn't want to do. I'm currently using Knode to post attachments, but so far I haven't seen any of my posts show up.

Does anybody have a tip where to find a "Agent" clone that they could share?

TIA

Could try slrn it worked well for me for quite a while. For serious binary news though I've only ever had great success with supergravity and agent, but those are windows.

Thanks for the tip. I'll give slrn a try when I get a chance.

This just in...

Found a java poster called "JBinUp" out of Germany that works pretty well. Might want to take a look at it when you get time. http://www.jbinup.com/

I use Grabit with Wine. I have had zero problems with it.
