Looking for a DLNA client for linux mint

I did a apt-cache search dlna, but there were too many results. Most of them were servers or libraries. I'm not sure which to use. I want a dlna client, not a dlna server.

Can anyone recoomend a dlna player? Yours truly...

If by DLNA you mean "Digital Living Network Alliance," this might help; according to the link, never versions of VLC are DLNA compliant.

A web search for "dlna client linux" turns up many more articles.

I installed xbmc which is still available in the mint repos. I was surprised because kodi was formerly xbmc, also kodi wasn't available in the mint repos as well.

Thx
