Logon problem.
 
I just downloaded Ubantu and wrote it to a CD. I installed it along with my XP Home. After it boots up it asks for a User name and password and the only thing I could think of is the user name and password for my XP logon, but won't work. Any clues?

Linux installation is supposed to prompt you for user account information, and this includes a user name and a password for the user. If you lost those, then you need to reinstall.

i take it ( guessing) that it is the Ubuntu LIVE cd and you did not install it but just but it in the cd drive and rebooted .If so then usr

just hit the <enter> button for both
