logon.bat for Windows XP

I am running red hat linux as a server. Netlogon executes a logon.bat file to map network drives.

This works fine with Windows 98 SE, but not with Windows XP.

Any Suggestions???

sounds like a purely windows question... maybe there's more details here that you're not telling us that relate it to linux??

I also think it is a Windows Problem (for our sins we have to run windows for the educational software we subscibe to). Was wondering whether anyone knew how to get around it.

Having the same problem, and its possibly down to the LMHOSTS file?
you need to set it up and tellit where the domain server is.
