system > preferences > mouse
suda opt-get install logitech-applet
sudo apt-get install mdetect
... the first one is a cli tweaker for logitech mice. The second generates the appropriate xorg.conf stuff for your mouse.
Usually you need something like this:
Code:
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "V400"
Driver "mouse"
Option "Buttons" "9"
Option "Emulate3Buttons" "false"
Option "ButtonMapping" "1 2 3 6 7"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
Option "Protocol" "ExplorerPS/2"
Option "Resolution" "800"
Option "Name" "Logitech USB Receiver"
Option "HWHEELRelativeAxisButtons" "7 6"
EndSection
