Since upgrading to Ubuntu 8.1 my logitech quickcam only produces very dark pictures. I have not been able to find a good solution. It used to work flawlessly onder Ubuntu Hardy.

Not familiar with webcams etc, but the principles remain the same. It looks like it needs recalibrating with your system. Shine a light on it directly and see if that makes a difference, if so it's working.
