Hi,

i installed rhel 5 on my m/c.by mistake i installed or enabled kerberos and i was not aware abt this.while i do telnet to this m/c is was taking much time to get login and giving error

[B]"Resource temporarily unavailable while getting initial credentials"[/B]

i unstalled some of kerberos rpm.

$PATH variable is /usr/kerberos/sbin:/usr/kerberos/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin

i do export PATH=/usr/bin:$PATH

but still i am not able to login from console.i can login graphically.also when i do telnet and give username and password the connection get timed out.

Are you sure telnet to this machine is enabled? Have you denied telnet logins in hosts.deny file or in xinet.d/telnet file?
