Question login script

Loaded my first Linux a few days ago.

I want to script a linux workstation to auto login and execute rdesktop program on start-up so I can trash all of the Wx clients on our terminal server.

Mandrake 9.0 GUI has an auto login feature, but no auto start for program (that I know of).

I'm trying to stay away from GUI wizards so I can learn how this stuff actually works!!

Any takers???

thx

hopeful linux convert
