log the booting ?!


Is there a way to log the boot procedure in a text file ...

i am trying to debug the usb and the network and things pass too fast

you can use the output of the dmesg command, to get it in a file do dmesg > bootlog

and if ur just searching for usb in dmesg u could type

dmesg | grep usb
