Log out has changed

I was fiddling around in KDE Control Center, including System Administration>Login Manager. Now when I log out I'm not presented the dialogue box that offers to shut down or restart the computer etc. Now I just go to another login screen and even that's changed. Whereas before on the login screen it just had me, now it also has root.

Does anybody know how I can get back to the way it was?

I use SuSE 10.1 and KDE.

Thanks,

royeo

It sounds like you've changed stuff on the Shutdown tab - what values do you have in Allow Shutdown's Local and Remote settings? Also, on the Users tab, what values do you have in the System UIDs and Users boxes?

Yeah it would be logical if it were a change on the Shutdown tab. But no. And I didn't change anything on the User's tab.

Thanks,
