Unhappy log file command

Hi everyone,

I am working on a mirror on the tucows website. currently i'm running tucopy.sh -v whaich is mirror right now. tho this is on the server and if I login remotely I do not know how to view the active log. meaning I want to see the files that are being downloaded or log file in real time. my second question is how do you edit a conf file from the command line remotely?

sorry but being a newbie we are were one before so it is better to ask then not ask at all. I have the manual and I could not find this inside.. thanks in advance..
Larry

Welcome to LQ.

Can you post a copy of tucopy.sh as without seeing it there is now way to know what it is doing.

You can edit conf files with a text editor like vi.
