Unhappy lockup during loading

Hi everyone,

Recently, I (FINALLY) upgraded to a cable internet connection. When I reconfigured my network settings and restarted, Mandrake 10.0 wouldn't load. It gets stuck during "loading hsf" and will not procede. Also, I've noticed that it automatically goes into verbose mode while loading, whereas before it did not. Any help with this would be very much appreciated. Thanks so much!

Chris

I don't know what hsf but you can try to remove the init script responsible for load this stuff in /etc/rc.d/
