location of c headers

hi all...

I have installed vmware player on fedora 9....but when i try to start it using command vmplayer it asks for kernel header location....these things i have done by compilig linux-2.6.28.1 kernel...and it is not taking the location /usr/src/linux-2.6.28.1/include where the kernel header usually recides.....can anyone suggest me how to find the location of kernel headers...

it must be automatically detected as
/lib/modules/`uname -r`/build

also, is gcc and kernel-headers packages installed ?
