Question locale Problems

Hi everyone,

I installed fedora Core2 for first time last month, and it cames configured using utf. I had some problems of compatibility with some people so I decided to change the etc/locale file and set all the variables to es_ES.ISO-8859-15.

The big problem is that now all the software is in English!!! and when I type locale in the prompt I get the following message:

locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory
locale: Cannot set LC_MESSAGES to default locale: No such file or directory
locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directory
LANG=es_ES.ISO-8859-15
LC_CTYPE="es_ES.ISO-8859-15"
LC_NUMERIC="es_ES.ISO-8859-15"
LC_TIME="es_ES.ISO-8859-15"
LC_COLLATE="es_ES.ISO-8859-15"
LC_MONETARY="es_ES.ISO-8859-15"
LC_MESSAGES="es_ES.ISO-8859-15"
LC_PAPER="es_ES.ISO-8859-15"
LC_NAME="es_ES.ISO-8859-15"
LC_ADDRESS="es_ES.ISO-8859-15"
LC_TELEPHONE="es_ES.ISO-8859-15"
LC_MEASUREMENT="es_ES.ISO-8859-15"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="es_ES.ISO-8859-15"
LC_ALL=

What I did wrong?? Please help!!

Hi bcainzos,

You may have success with this...
Under the hat
Preferences / Control Center
Regional & Accessibility
Country / Region & Language

Change
Country: Default

to
Country: Europe, Northern > Estonia ( I think )

You will get a message about logging back in for changes.
