Question LMDE wireless printer

Well yes, I'm fairly ignorant. I need a class on how to work in the shell or terminal or whatever you guys call it. The commands and protocalls are similar enough to dos that I think I can figure it out but then.....a brick wall. But the graphic interface is great. My specific problem is this: When I click on 'network' I can see everything but my printer, a lexmark prevail pro705. I can see all the other devices just fine, my wifes laptop, my neighbors computers, my usb devices but not my printer. Can anyone shove me in the right direction?

Thanx

It might be that your lexmark printer is not supported under Linux. Do a Google search for the driver for the model you are using and see what other have experienced.

Good luck to you!
