live cd to work with NTFS partition

hello! i only use microsoft windows xp, but i need a way to work with the files without being in windows, a live cd would be a great solution, is there a live cd that lets me work with ntfs partitions?
or is there any other way? or should i use fat32?

i can't use damn small linux, it stops when it says "loading ohci1394.o...
what can i do?

Try knoppix, although I'm not sure how reliably/whether it can access NTFS partitions, it can boot a huge range of hardware, and comes with tons of diagnostic tools. knoppix.org i believe is the site.

hi,
would like to add few lines only for 212121..............
keep in mind one thing that "writing on ntfs" is still in experimental stage. So if you want that sort of pupose then better have fat32 file system.
And with some linux distros you will have to compile your kernel for ntfs support ( read only )
