not sure with Open, but do you mean it's asking where the flash download is or what?
also, did you try to install flash thru open's pkg manager?

No I'm asking where the firefox installation path is in the live cd because like I said I download unzip and then run chmod +x flashplayer-installer and get the install screen hit enter and get the following message... Please enter the installation path of the Mozilla, Netscape,
or Opera browser (i.e., /usr/lib/mozilla):
and yes I tried using yast but it is a live cd and you can't install anything with it only looks at what is installed

Well, did you try /usr/lib/mozilla? Its just looking for the directory firefox stores its libraries and plugins in.

If you can't install with Yast, then most likely you can't install. A lot of LiveCDs are for testing/demo purposes only. If your hardware works, then you need to install the OS to actually use it and save/download/install anything.

Thats hardly helpful, the problem is installing flash; its a simple two step, find the directory, use it in the installer.

Its not a change distro/ burn new live cd problem

That depends entirely on whether or not the LiveCD creates the directory without doing a full installation.

If the directory can't be found...
