Live cd

I want to try out linux, so ive tried a few live cd's. The ones i've tried so far, Kubuntu and Ubuntu, don't work. One gives me an error about not being able to load the X Windows Interface, and the other freezes at a loading point. I was wondering if someone could give me a nice link to a live cd distro that works and that is AMD64. Thanks.

Or you could try out gentoo based RR64. It's still beta, but as a live CD it's stable:
