Im newbie to the world of Linux, practically never seen Linux in Action.

What does LIVE CD means?

In short Description, whats the difference between Mandrake and SUSE?

In an Internet Cafe environment, which is better Mandrake or SUSE? Assuming in the next couple of months the cafe will be a mini ISP (WIFI Distribution).

Live CD means the OS is booted and run off the cd itself, it doesn't install to the hard drive. So you can have any other Os installed on your hard drive, boot with the Live CD, when done, take it out and boot back into your other OS.

The difference between Mandrake and SuSE is mostly in configuration tools. Hardware support is mostly the same, application version also the same etc. So, if you can download both Live versions before you decide, do it and try them both. When there's problem with hardware support, it's with WiFi cards. So, I don't know which one you have, but there might be support for it in one and no support (or harder to configure) in the second one. Regarding WIFI, no specific brand have yet purchase but we are targeting the DLINK due to long range coverage since this is the only Internet Cafe existing in this Municipality.

I will try both Mandrake and SUSE - and post whatever problem encounter .
