Little problem with KDE 3.4
 

Hi all, i have a litle stupid problem i would like to resolve.

When i use the tool to allign the icons to the grid with the right botton of the mouse, the output is that the icons are far one from each other and when i restart X they never are in the same position.
Is it possible to set the grid in order to have less pixels between two icons?

That icon repositioning bug was also present in KDE 3.3.

I don't know how to fix it, but what I do is create an additional panel, and put all my icons there. More specifically, I use all my root icons on the normal panel (yast, terminal, Konqueror super-user, etc), which are just a few, and all my user icons on the extra panel.

Then, once you have all the icons on the extra panel, hold shift while moving the right-most icon against the other icons (my panels are both horizontal), and that will reduce the space between them to the minimum space possible.
