List of all available partitions?

Hello,

How can I get a list of all available disks and partitions?

Is it possible to get using some command, or I have to check in /dev directory?

tnx in adv!

Launch as root
Code:

fdisk -l
That is a lower case L, not the number 1.

Code:

df -h
will show you all mounted partitions, their mount point, and storage (used/free)

Code:

$ df -h

For a quick'n'dirty listing of available devices, I like to use "cat /proc/partitions".
