lirc


Am newbie to linux. I want to interface lirc to my pc.
How to do it???
Am using ubuntu 10.04 LTS.

Install packages "lirc" and "lirc-x". During installation you will be asked about your hardware, so choose right. You can also install and run "gnome-lirc-properties". Ask more detailed question if you get stuck.
