I have windows 8.1 installed I did a dual boot with deepin I never used linux before, I like deepin that's the reason I want to learn about linux.

After I installed deepin, I can no longer boot to windows 8.1, there's no option to choose between OS when the laptop boot, it went straight to deepin. I need help, I want to be able to boot to windows 8

We would need to have more detailed information on your drives/partitions, boot files and related. The best way to get that for someone new is to boot Deepin, open a browser and go to the site below, download and run the 'bootinfoscript'. There are instructions on how to use it in the Description box. I will output a results.txt file which you can post here for help.

The instructions are linked in the Description box on the page I linked to in my earlier post. The instruction link is below.
